Congratulations to our recent winners in the DFN – Lucy, Luke and Rob!
At this year’s MetSoc – Meteoritical Society Conference – Lucy Forman won one of five Wiley Student Awards for outstanding presentation for her explanation of her work on the Allende meteorite. At the Australian Space Research Conference in September, the Fireballs team made a real splash. How can you ignore five enthusiastic, brilliant fireballs PhD students? Luke Daly won best student presentation, explaining his findings on tiny meteorite inclusions, and was closely followed by Rob Howie (runner up) for his talk on the camera systems of the DFN.
