The Fireballs in the Sky exhibits were getting around WA and SAin 2015 and we’ll be planning their 2016 tours shortly. The display was first created for us by Scitech, has traveled regionally and interstate, and now we have three copies to share with even more people.

We’re touring the exhibits to local libraries and community centres around the country to share the awesome science going on in our own backyards, and let people know how to get involved!

“The Fireballs in the Sky Exhibition was a wonderful addition to the Dandaragan Community Resource Centre display space.

The students from the Dandaragan Primary School came down to the CRC to participate in an astronomy activity and the Exhibition.

We thoroughly enjoyed hosting the students. They were very engaged and interested in the research. They asked heaps of questions and I was rather impressed with their space knowledge.

I explained all about the new fireball app they can download on their phones plus showed them the Desert Fireball Network website where they can go and find lots of activities and read the scientists latest blogs. We have encouraged the students to come down to the centre after school to utilise our computers to check out the website.”
