Cailin graduated from Curtin University in 2015 with a mechatronics engineering degree and now helps to build and test Desert Fireball Network camera nodes. He handles the nuts and bolts (and solder and screws and glue and…) of assembling new camera systems, testing each one before it goes out the door.
Cailin enjoys working with high-tech manufacturing techniques and believes that nobody should ever do any work a computer can do for them. He also loves astrophotography, and enjoys looking at some of the spectacular images captured by the network.
