Teachers and lab technicians had some fun and got hands on with Fireballs at the Science Teachers’ Association of Western Australia STAWA Future Science conference last week.
Over 60 heard from team leader, Phil during his key note talk and another 20 dissected meteorites, made craters and measured angles with Gretchen, Ellie and Jay.
Everyone had a great time and left with a free Fireballs in the Sky teacher resource book and poster.
Our new primary schools planetary science activities will be available for download from the website soon, but any teacher wanting a hard copy of this 88 page book of experiments and ideas can email fireballs@curtin.edu.au with their postal address.
